If you would like to eat locally (and who wouldn’t?) while you are visiting Annapolis, why not try one of the restaurants touted as the “Top Ten” by Trip Advisor?

Let’s start with the Vin 909 Winecafe which offers outdoor tented dining, is known for its delicious pizza and where you can throw caution to the wind and try their pizza topped with boar meatballs!

Or go sweet and savory at Dry 85 with a classic chicken and waffles plate or a blue cheese and fig burger.

The pasta with lobster at Osteria 177 gets plenty of accolades, while O’Leary’s Seafood Restaurant offers a charming atmosphere with its delicious menu.

Enjoy veggie paella or ensalada caliente with shrimp and spinach at Jalapeno’s while you are serenaded by a Spanish guitarist.

The Boatyard Bar and Grill does crab at its best with items like cream of crab soup with sherry, jumbo lump crab cakes and artichoke dip with…yep…crab!

Start with avocado toast, settle in with a nice steak in herb and shallot butter with fries and top it all off with a cream grilled bread pudding when you visit the Lighthouse Bistro.

Since Annapolis is famous for its crab, how about a breakfast of crab cake eggs benedict at the Iron Rooster? Yum!

The Carrol’s Creek Café house specialty of sea scallops delicately rolled in phyllo and served on a bed of wilted spinach, lump crab and prosciutto and topped with shrimp cream sauce also sounds amazing!

Then there’s Lewne’s Steakhouse, which is known for off the rails steaks that will melt in your mouth. This is where you truly get extraordinary dining with outstanding service.
