Maryland Governor Larry Hogan, recently citing a drop in hospitalizations due to COVID-19, has also reported that Maryland hospitalizations are currently the lowest they have been since the onslaught of the pandemic. In early June, Maryland also reached the milestone of over half of its residents becoming fully vaccinated.
Governor Hogan has further indicated that Maryland’s indoor mask mandate will be lifted as soon as 70 percent of all adults in Maryland have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine…a goal that, if it has not been reached by the publication of this notification, is expected to soon be reached. Another refreshing upshot is that as things are beginning to look up for Maryland’s residents, they are also improving for Maryland’s businesses and tourism; as all indoor and outdoor venues, including restaurants, are once again permitted to operate at normal capacity.
The Maryland Office of Tourism does, however, suggest that all visitors check with the businesses they plan to patronize before traveling to Maryland, so that their experience will be as positive as possible. According to the Maryland Office of Tourism, its goal is for “every visitor experience to be exceptional.” They also put the comfort and safety of Maryland residents as well as tourists above all else, so they continue to urge both residents and visitors to continue to observe all public health guidelines.
As a proud member of the Maryland business community, Window Expressions also continues to abide by CDC recommendations in an effort to keep all of our customers comfortable and safe.
